Thanks Actually he is just in a 40gal breeder tank (36x18x16)right now that I bought at Petco a few yrs ago for $100. He has a 4x2x2 custom wood cage waiting for him when he gets bigger

Gem pooped in his tank AGAIN this morning.Then I watch him on the webcam going nuts trying to get away from it :| I have to somehow figure out how get his bowels to wait for me to get home from work in the afternoon. :lol:
He ate almost his whole salad today :mrgreen:

Michele, when Lil was little I had to bathe her in the AM before I left. I would put her in a little container of water right outside my shower so I could watch her.

Michele I have to suggest as Sara did...I know that you leave rather early for work, but I think your chances of him going before you leave in a bath is better than getting him to wait until you get home. :wink: Just my 2 cents. :wink:

Those pics are so precious Michele! Any of them would look great in the calendar! This is gonna be my first time submitting pics so I'm really excited! Gem is looking fabulous and growing so fast! I'm glad that he's eating salad for you! Hopefully you can find a way to bathe him in the morning like Sara and Barb suggested to keep poo out of his viv!

Gem didn't poop at all yesterday and today he pooped in his water bowl. Unfortunately there is no way I can bathe him in the morning before work. I feel bad enough that I have his lights come on at 5:30am,especially now that it's so dark in the mornings,if I were to give him a bath his lights would have to come on at 5am :shock: I think I would rather deal with cleaning poop out of his tank after work then making him wake up earlier. The weekends will be no problem though. I'm hoping eventually he will be an afternoon "pooper" again :lol:
He has not been too interested in his crickets the past 3 days (maybe because his tail is about to shed)but he has been LOVING his salad ever since I added escerole to the mix. I did the weekly weigh-in and measurement tonight and he is 86 grams and 12.5''
