Gecko scratching

Hi guys, my female leopard gecko has been scratching for a week now and she is losing her appetite. Her belly is getting fatter. she is with a male but I never saw them mating. any advice? :? Im a first time breeder and dont know what to expect. are they the same as a bearded dragon?

My advice to you is to get the incubator ready. They probably did it when you weren't looking.
