Fresh Green Beans

Draco loves green beans and although the are a feed occasionally food I put them in his greens everyday so he will show interest in the other greens. I would say they only make up about 10% of the greens offered. Anyway for ease I have been feeding him frozen beans but today grabbed some fresh ones at the store. My question is do I feed him the fresh ones raw or do they need to be cooked. Any other suggestions on how to get him to be more interested in the greens? I currently use mustard, collard and endive. I have used cactus pad which he loves but it is very hard to find it around here. In fact finding anything other that mustard and collard greens is almost impossible. One other question is how to get the greens to last in the fridge? Seems like I use about 1/4 of them then have to toss them out because they are wilted.

My Kenny LOVES his green beans. I don't bother cooking them, I just put them in there fresh :D

Have you tried yellow squash or dandelion greens? Kenny also loves eating dandelion flowers! I'm lucky, he jumps right down and eats his greens right up. He seems to like baby collard greens the best out of his leafy greens.

We have done acorn squash but not yellow. As for dandelion greens I have not seen them in any of my local stores. My son always wants to give Draco dandelion flowers but I worry about sprays.

That is good to worry about sprays. I will only get the flowers from my yard and that is it. I don't know how neat you are with your lawn, but perhaps you can plant some dandelion seeds in a pot! Haha :) Then you can have all the dandelion greens and flowers you want.

Haha aww, dandelions are tough though! (as you can tell because your neighbors use sprays to kill them) :) If you do not spray your yard look around for them on your property. My first dragon absolutely went crazy for dandelions! The one I have now really enjoys them too. When you find them, make sure you give them a quick rinse first to get any little wild bugs off. Ants like to hide in the blooms sometimes. I hope you are able to find some! :D

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
