Yesterday I decided to buy my first leash for Frank. I bought an iguana leash since I've heard so many good things about it on here. I wanted to start getting Frank used to the leash now, so that when the warm weather comes around he will be ready and comfortable with it....Don't worry I will be only taking him around the house.

Wow did Frank put up a fight haha... he kept trying to attack the metal clip that goes around his belly, it was so funny and OF COURSE he was giving me the most nasty looks. I know it sounds horrible but I just couldn't help but laugh at times. I finally got it on him but didn't even bother to tighten it since he was so reluctant to sit still, but I was successful in getting it on...

Hopefully he will start calming down with every try. He did better then I expected for his first time but boy does he seem mad at me right now...I can see that he is giving me a major stink eye right now haha

Thanks :mrgreen: Yea I think it would be really great for when summer comes around and I want to take him outside. I won't have to worry about him running away so much. There is also a T-rex leash... http://www.petdiscounters.com/mc_images/product/detail/trex_reptile_comfort_leash_medium00.jpg , but I've heard complaints about it from owners on this site. The iguana leash gave me no problem except tightening it was a bit of a pain, I had to put some muscle in pulling the string, but it was very easy to put on non the less.

hosty - yea I meant the lighting for the pictures. even tho in the past I did use the wrong uvb lights for my beardie....but all fixed now 10.0 reptisun!

I know he's going to be going in to shed soon cause he's really due for another one, so i can't WAIT to see even more colors and that's sad they don't have any leashes might have to order one then cause I recommend buying one cause they seem realll fun and great, makes me feel so much better taking him out :mrgreen:

This Summer he will definately be going out with his leash...hubby is also building him an outdoor enclosure so when we're out there BBQing or in the pool or whatver we're doing, he can enjoy the outside as well

Just a suggestion in the leash department.... Kitten harnesses work great. They are easy to adjust and they are the perfect size for a beardie. And you have lots of different cool patterns on them to choose from.

I have two... a black one for the boys and a pink one for the girls. :mrgreen:

Yea I've heard about the kitten harnesses, I was actually thinking about them at the pet store when I went to go get my iguana leash but I wasn't sure if they would fit properly or what size or anything about them. When he gets bigger I would definitely love to try that out now that I know they can work too
