Found a very cheap water gel!!!

Hey,

I found a cheap water gel for like .12 cents per sachet here in our country. The people use it for their plants as an alternative watering and decoration. It's the same as how you make water gel. Now my question is, will this be a good alternative to water crystals?

Hi! It's hard to say without seeing the ingredients. As long as it doesn't have pesticides or fertilizers in it, it's probably ok. It just looks kinda weird to me, which is why I'd want to know what's in it first.

I have read that these crystals have the same composition with gels used for gardening. And in the description from http://prettyimpress.com/water-crystal-magic-jelly-ball-plants-growing-soil.html that they use these for plants as decoration and water alternative.
