First time my bearded pooped for me.. Pic inside. Need help

That white stuff. Its called a urate.
Thats what their pee is

Even when they are super hydrated, it comes out with extra lose water, but the stool is still firm and keeps shape.

From the look of yours, your dragon more than likely has parasite.

Almost all dragons will have parasites once in their life, the most common is Pin worms. Though they are super easy to treat and get rid of

You need to get him into a vet and get a fecal done

Some vets will do a fecal with out seeing the pet

But none will prescribe the medication with out seeing the pet first


Hands down you need to get him to a vet

I think I am with KatsuneGem with a vet visit, they are always a good idea if even just to get a fecal test done. If it were to come back negative for parasites then you have that piece of mind.

But, before rushing out and doing so, lets go over some things.

Basking temperature?
UV source (brand and type)?
How close can the dragon get to the UV while basking?

Now to hit up the urates...
The tinge can be from parasites if it is not related to diet.

What is being fed and how often (everything food related)?
How much are you dusting with calcium?

Basking spot is 95-105, Reptisun 10.0 8" from his log

I got him on Wednesday, and this is his first time going for me. Up until yesterday, he eat 2 crickets and 3 pieces of greens.

Yesterday, I bought him some supers from Petco, and he eat about 10 of them

Today I came home and the salad I left him was pretty much gone, and he ate about 10 more supers( )

That's when I noticed the poo.

I am so glad to see him eating, being a bit more alert, etc.

What do you think? Thinking about getting Reptaid, regardless of fecal test. Just to be safe

He appears light in color. I would seriously consider not feeding so many superworms in one day. Try for maybe 6 in a day for his size. They are rather fatty.

Well if we cannot rule out anything in the environment or diet then I would think parasites.

The reasoning for asking about dusting is it can alter the coloration of the urates. But, if it hasn't been fed in excess then it most likely isn't it.

Being this is the first time he's pooed for me, should I give it a couple more days and see if it gets better? I just read that stress could lead to temporary diarrhea
