Feeding adult beardie

Is it worth buying 500 adult crickets for an adult beardie? I know they eat 80% veggies 20% live animals in adulthood so I was wondering what is the best insect to feed them when they reach adulthood?

Hello :). I personally like worms because they last a long time and you don't have to take as much care of them as crickets. I like superworms a lot

Yeah I was considering supers and calciworms due to the fact that they last longer and I wouldn't want a dubia colony just for one beardie thats going to eat around 50 roaches per week tops. (I live in PR and no one ships them here anyways so thats not even an option, lol.)

If you can make that many crickets survive for few weeks than its totally worth it. I could never do it, those buggers are hard to keep alive, so I buy a little bit at a time. Superworms I find much easier to keep, last time I bought 200 (which was about a month ago and they are still alive.)

Yeah I'll probably feed him supers when he reaches adulthood. Supers dont chirp, jump or stink and definitely lasts longer. :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
