Endive in the UK???

i am really struggling to find endive in he UK, you can sometimes get I in salad bags but it is often mixed in with a lot of other things.

Can anyone tell me if the living leaves from tesco is endive???

Living leaves is a mix of different lettuces so no, not endive.

You will find endive is called 'frisée' more often than endive but it is difficult to find outside of the prepared bags. I did find one prepared bag in tesco that contained endive, escarole and raddichio - I use it when they have it but it is kind of hit-or-miss

Thanks, I will keep an eye out for that mixed bag. I just wanted to find something I can mix with their spring greens and grated butternut squash. I normally get bok choi, sugarsnap peas, and sometimes ball peppers.

i've been getting tesco or morrisons french salad, thats got endive lambs lettuce and raddichio in it. only £1 or £2 a bag and my dragon goes though a bag a week maybe..
