If you don't mind, Auntie, I will use that same feeding schedule, he might be bored with the squash and apples I give every other day, I switch between them, I need to see what else he can have. That is a good
schedule, very amazing no wonder they're so big. Hi cousin Geico and Emily.

Hi hun, I don't mind at all, its what has worked for us all their lives and since its worked I am sticking to it and gradually doing the flip to 80% greens to 20% protein. I will continue with everything else as usual and they are slowly getting used to the 50/50 switch and tomorrow will be 60/40

Awesome thanks! I did give him some banana (once in a great while) and yup sure enough he wanted the 2
small pieces so I see he's bored, makes sense I would be with the same 2 foods. Starting a salad with apples
in it...he wants change he will get it :lol:.

Hey! Love the pictures with the soda cans.. i'll have to do that with Jango the next time I have one around. That's a great feeding schedule as well.. I wish i could get Jango eating like that.. he eats his greens once in awhile but not that much.. he loves his supers so mabie i'll try putting them in with his greens tomorrow and see what he does. lights on at 7am.. I give him greens (collards, mustards, turnips..whatever I can get at the time, spritzed with water) w/apple and carrot bits in the morning (freshing them up when needed) about 6 to 7 supers a day (usually around 1pm) and then anywhere from 10 to 20 crickets a day (usually around 5pm).. lights out at 8pm. He gets a bath every other day and he poo's in the bath. Jango loves bananas, apples, grapes and raisins.. he hates anything red.. so far i've tried to give him strawberries and watermelon and he refuses them everytime. He likes squash too but I haven't gotten any lately.

Coke needs spokes Lizards! :lol: Emily just gets brighter every time I see her and Geico looks so nice up against the red. You gotta love the Guard BD's pics too. No one would mess with you if they saw that pic hanging on the door! :lol: I just love it!

I weighed and measured Geico and Emily today. Emily is 15 1/2 inches maybe 16, she wouldn't be still and weighs 485 grams. If Geico had all his tail he would be 17 1/2 to 18 inches and weighs close to 600 grams at 584. Emily is catching up to Geico but she seems so much smaller in body size. Both have nice fat tail bases and fat under the arms, fat pads on the head are getting huge. Both are starting to shed again..sheeesh it never stops lol.

Geico and Emily are doing great, eating tons and both had a bath today. Geico drank so much water he gagged a bit lol but never black bearded or anything. Em is fixing to shed her head again and her tail. Geico just shed his mouth so he''s happily eating without all that tight shed. Both are still growing like weeds. Em went bye bye the other day to go get some crickets and she did so well sitting on my shoulder in the car while I was driving, it was her first time ever in the car since I brought her home from the pet store. Its been so hot and dry here but we stay inside, Im drinking tons of fluids to keep hydrated and so are Em and Geico.

Glad to hear all is well with everyone It was really hot here about two weeks ago but since then it's cooled down some.. been in the 70's here with off and on rain showers.

Hi Tonja, I have big new, my grandson Leo Duke Stevens was born yesterday morning at 10\:30a, 8 lbs 4 oz, 20" long. I spent the day at the hospital and held him most of that time, oh what a great feeling, even though my arms hurt today. He's such a cute baby, looks like both my son and d-I-l. She had a ceasarian and is taking morphine for the pain, so is afraid to hold him too long as she gets so dopey on the drug, so I sat beside her with Leo facing her so she could at least watch him. She feels left out, but won't be on it very much longer and should be home by Monday latest, probably tomorrow, so that will be easier for her. So I'm a grandma! It feels wonderful. I'm back at the hospital this afternoon for the day again, helping out as much as I can.

thanks for stopping by, all is well here thanks, Geico and Emily just had a large salad for lunch a bit ago with 3-4 crickets thrown in. Both are shedding again now and miserable so the bath helps with that and the itchiness,..been putting pure coco butter on their tails to ensure complete shedding. Hope all is well with you,

Its been a while so thought I would update on my babies. Geico is over 600 grams now and Emily is over 500 and fast catching up to Geico. Both are eating salads now with some crickets thrown in so that transition is done. Going next week to get their new reptisuns since they are due for new UVB lights. Both are shedding again. Geico shed his tail from the tip up to mid tail and still has the rest to shed. Hes also shedding a foot and leg and part of his back. Emily is fixing to shed her head from the back of her head to around her beard. Both love to drag their stuffies around and Emily drags her pillow off her bed to lay on it being the diva she is. Been having a lot of dry thunderstorms here lately with little to no rain still. Hubby is doing great with his wrist, so went to the range yesterday to get some target practice in, funny what 3 months of no shooting will do to you lol. Hit center target but it was a bit high and to the left..gotta fix that so I am dead center again. Got some new horror movies to watch so am gonna spend the day watching them. Dogs are doing great so not much else to update. Gonna bathe Em and Geico later on so that will help shedding. Yall have a great rest of the weekend and talk to you soon.
