Eating calcium powder

So my new beardie was eating the larger pieces of calcium powder that didnt stick to the crickets...is that strange?

Hello Aaron( love your name....it's also my sons name). There are actually alot of beardies who love the calcium powder. No, it is not strange at all and nothing to be worried about!

Kyle will eat chunks of powder if they're on a flat surface, but Tsam is a dream to give calcium to. Pour it into the lid, hold it out to him and he goes mental. He will grab it out of your hands, take two to three good big mouthfuls and then realise the powder makes his mouth all sticky. He sits there happily going "gakgakgak"...
