Dusting or gut loading?

Do I have to dust the meal worms/ crickets with the calcium stuff (I have two kinds that I know to alternate)? Or do I have to gut load them as well?
If so, how do I gut load them?

hi there i dust mine and gut load 2, u need to feed your bugs on a high in calcium and protein dry diet ,at least 48 hours before u give them 2 your dragon, meal worms wax worms just dust as thay wont tend to eat the dry diet hope this helps threadbear .x

umm if yougo tohttp://www.flukerfarms.com/feedersupplies.aspx they have high cal. cricket feed and cricket water w/ calcium cause the water gut loads them cause they need lots of water. they have the same stuff at http://armstrongcrickets.com/shop/index.php?cPath=63 but cheaper maybe. :study:

There is this stuff that they eat and it's like protein shavings (from pets at home) and usually like a few vegetables

hen I used crickets I would give them Fluker's Cricket Quencher Calcium Fortified, it's a gel base water source with extra calcium in it. For a dry food I used chick starter feed, it's high in protein and packed with vitamins. I've also heard of people using flake fish food, and dry cat or dog food. They will also eat the salad left overs from your dragon.

Even using food like that for your crickets you should still dust them but not quite as much. I dusted with calcium 2 or 3 times a week and vitamins 1 or 2 times a week.
