Dubias- Light cycle needed??

I was wondering if Dubia's need a light cycle for healthy growing/reproduction??

No night/day cycle needed. They prefer it to be night all the time.

There has not been a study on breeding production under various lighting conditions. Its common knowledge that a nocturnal creature would prefer the dark...but what, if any, harm does a 24hr night cycle do?
When I get the time, I am going to set up a dubia colony with a light cycle and check breeding rate. The control will be a 24hr dark colony. If I end up doing this, I'll post the details here.
