dried food for beardies

i saw online canned dried food...i was wondering if was better than buying live worms and crickets..if anyone has had luck on feeding your bd this dried food thanx!!!!!!!!!

Live bugs and fresh greens are the best options for a dragon's diet, although pelleted and dried foods can be used to help add variety to that basic diet. Pellets / dried food shouldn't be used as a staple instead of live bugs and fresh greens though.

I try it with my BD and he seem to like it a lot just add a few drop a water so their moisturise and become a little more softer ! I add them with green and meal worm once in a while juste for a treat

As in freeze-dried crickets? From what I hear, not all beardies will eat it. Also, during the freezing-drying process, they loose some of their nutritional value. If your beardie eats it, great, but also provide salad and live food. Freeze-dried items are a good thing to have on hand in case of a snow/wind store, tornado, hurricane, earthquake, or anything else that might crash the power lines. Or just in case your pet store is out of live food or something, you always have a backup.

When I got some food pellets (for gutloading crix), I found one package had a "free trial" can of freeze-dried crickets. Next time you go to your local pet store (something I try to avoid), check and see; you might get a free can!
