sorry guys its valley dragon ranch. i reread the invoice. the dragons the shop got from them looked like they were fresh from the egg... but they did get a really nice leucstic that i should have nabbed....

valley dragons is a good breeder but they have some practices some of us do not aggree with. to include they are the ones selling the 1 year old 2 headed dragon (that is no bigger than a hatchling) for 25000 dollars (which kinda erks a few members of this forum due to how great we see that zach and weezie are taken care of)

yeah thats the one.... the dragons we got at the shop were tiny. they looked like they were a couple weeks old and a couple looked like they didnt have their first shed yet.... but there is a leucstic at the shop i want to get.

Personally if I were looking to purchase a beardie(thinking out loud) I would look for a person that isn't breeding several different types of reptiles...Just my opinion but the more different species that one is caring for on a large scale..... I see it as they won't beable to provide the same care as someone that is only into one or a couple types of reptiles. I don't mean that if someone owns alot of different animals that they can't care for them don't get me wrong...but there is a difference in having and caring for pets as pets than having several species that your breeding as a business possibly a main source or good portion of family income.

But like I said that's just my opinion. :wink:

oh i completely agree with you its just the shop that i help out with ordered a whole sale lot of 75 dragons. that was nuts having all those babies at once.... but i took a couple the shop held on to a few for themselves personally and saved a few to sell. the rest went to other shops looking for beardies. but they have one that i should have taken and its turning into a leucstic. i was mad about the 60 baby dragons in one sac and 15 bigger dragon in the other in a tiny box.

After reading the BOI post I want to state that i really feel this was handled incorrectly on your part and on the part of your friends that own the shop. First and foremost if the dragons you paid for died then your issue should have been with the pet store that ordered them not valley dragons. I dont think your friends or you really knew what to expect by ordering a wholesale lot but from what i read they were sent the exact way holesale lots are always sent. And you are bound to get dragons that die either during travel or after arrival in a wholesale lot. That is just the nature of the beast. I have read the original sale post and the email conversations you have had with the breeder. Nothing was missrepresented. a 4.5" beardie is very tiny and does still look like a hatchling but it is the size that wholesale lots are sent out at. You also need to realize that by involving yourself in the sale with the breeder you are making it look as if you are representing the company in pet store that decided to bounce a check on a lot of dragons that they had already sold the majority of. I have to say that posting that link actually makes you look less trustworthy and shows valley dragons as the victim in this situation. Next time you or anyone you are associated with orders a wholesal lot of dragons you will know what to expect. And hopefully your associates/friends or whatever you call them will honor their commitments in the future cause they deffinately made themselves look bad in this deal. And by proxy, since you involved yourself, you slightly hurt your own reputation as well.

Wow. I must reply & say that I only currently have one bearded dragon but I purchased him from Valley Dragons & had nothing but a great experience The customer service was wonderful! Even after my beardie arrived, I still had questions & Jamie was always there to answer & help me out! She truly cares about the care of her Bearded Dragons & that to me, says a lot. As far as Bert & Ernie (the two headed dragon), how many 2 headed bearded dragons actually make it past one year?! She is asking for a certain price or best offer. How can anyone comment on the price becuase of how small they are? The fact that they are growing & have made it this far is a miracle in itself. Every bearded dragon grows at diff rates, they are all diff...just like people Just beacuse they may not be as big as the other 2 headed bearded dragons (zak & wheezy?) doesn't mean anything. Drago (my beardie) has a great temperment & he's healthy as can be :wink:

the problem that was seen with the 2 headed dragon is that many are afraid some collector of oddities will get it and not care for it correctly. once she dies the person can have it stuffed or put in femaldihied and still have a show peice. But once again this is just opinions of people that i am putting together. I posted my feelings on the two headed dragon and valley knows what i said (i feel if you have that much to spend on a dragon then you will take care of it lol)
