AAAWWWWW!!!!!!!!
That is just too freakin cute you all! LOL!

Ok, Zack and Wheezie, I don't know... they are just priceless! My Spike is of course the cutest one headed beardie  but those two... every time I see a pic of them its an instant aawww moment! Darling I say!!

I don't think you should feel too weird about sleeping with her.. it is obvious that more here do, or would if they could! When I first got my sun conure he would sleep with me. It was crazy, all under the covers with his head on a pillow just like human. Or he would sleep on my chest. In a way it is such an amazing experience, and what a bonding moment, expecially considering the animal! I want you to think about something though.... How long are you willing to let her sleep in your bed with you? They live a long time, are you willing to do it the rest of her life? I had to literall train my Sprinkles (sun conure) to sleep without me. It was a very slow process and at times I felt it just wasn't going to happen. I first got him a seperate little bed and blanky and had him at the head of my bed on some shelfs. This was a process itself to get him to stay their! Many times he would start their for me to wake up with him on my chest. With slow continuous moves toward him sleeping in his cage, I finally got their about 3 months later!!

Don't get me wrong, I take naps with both Spike and Sprinkles, and sometimes my daughter lets Sprinkles sleep with her, but I would make sure your beardie knows how to sleep by herself in the proper place before your crazed sleeping buddy gets even crazier!

Iccarus has taken a nap in the bed, but never slept overnight. I don't trust him, the cats, or ourselves enough to do that.

Here's naptime:

lol........she just turned 4 years old in October....and she has been sleeping in the bed with me for about 1 year now...she is my daughter so she gets away with alot  ....but she is a bed hog!!!!! i find myself smashed in a corner while she gets all the room she wants....but somtimes she cuddles right up to me...so i have learned to sleep like stick...so i dont roll on her or anything....but it makes me feel better that im not the only one!!!!! :D :D

Only on my chest for naps after work, typically for about 1.5 or 2 hours... Only once did I attempt to have her sleep in bed with me and she did great- i just stayed up all night worried I was gonna roll over and she was going to attempt exploring in the dark... other times I've set her up in my top (sock) drawer with a burrito and she loved it- my problem is i tend to sleep late on weekends, so she ended up clawing across my face on her way to the other end of the bed.

WHen my hubby was in the hospital, I let Digger sleep in bed with me and when I was naping he'd sleep with me, but now he just wants to sleep in his cat carrier, when he finds it and goes it I cover him up with a hankie after he wiggles in on the towels :D

I put Vyllyn in a bunched up down throw where he circles around to make his sleep place. I dont want to bother him so I put it on the top corner of my bed next to my pillow. When I get up in the morning to get ready, he gradually sticks his head out until he's ready for the sun and I carry the whole thing and put it on a chair next to his viv for him to crawl out when he's ready. I've been taking him to work a lot too, he sits in the passenger seat in the sun for the 30 mile ride over the sky way. I have a clamp lamp attached to the hutch on my desk if he needs it but ususally hangs out in front of my monitor.

I don't think it would be a good idea to have your BD sleep next to you in bed as you could roll over and crush him/her. There was a thread on here a couple of months ago where a guy accidentally killed one of his BD's which is really quite a tragic thing to happen :(.

Anyway sometimes when I have my oldest female out she likes to snuggle into my bed covers and go to sleep  .

Yes, unfortunately that is sometimes true. I have occassionally permitted it during cold weather. :) The animals love to bond this way. When I adopted my recent rescue, allowing him to do this a couple times was what tamed him down and built his trust. Beardies are just like family. They melt your heart.

When I take naps I will let my Beardie fall asleep with me on my chest. But during the night I don't let him sleep with me because I move a lot during the night. :p

Thats a terrifying thought...Im such a sound sleeper, and apparently i dont stay still either. Id surely kill my little one...No doubt about it. For now and i fear always, hes safest in his viv.

I dont recommend anyone sleep with their dragons...Just too dangerous.
I do, on the other hand, sleep with my dog and cat. Those can defend themselves lol

I bring mine to bed with me after my father checks in on me for the night (he always thinks I'm asleep....)! Then I hop up, quietly open her viv, and out comes Evalyn. I wrap her up in a beardie burrito, put her in my robe that I roll up to look like a cat bed, and sleep with my hand on top of her back so she at least gets a little heat to keep her blankie warm. Then I wake up at nine and place her back in her viv before my father comes to wake me up.... if he knew he'd freak and start lecturing on salmonella!

Soon I hope to get her one of those heating pads and a cover for it so she can sleep with that under the robe.... not all night, mind you, but I'd wake up every two or so hours to turn it on for maybe 20 minutes.... hehe I think I'm a pretty good beardie slave!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
