I would switch vets if it was me, there is no need to take any chances with him missing anything else. Don't beat yourself up as you've obviously done nothing but try to help your baby, you're a good momma.

Okay, I just took her out and she is laying on my chest. She seems very alert, but she just made this little noise. Like a sigh. Very quick. Her breathing isn't heavy and she isn't wheezing, but I have heard her make that little noise a couple of times in the last few days. Like half a hiss? But not a hiss. If that makes sense.

Could this also be a resp infection? I've left a message for the new vet and I am wondering if I should just take her into the Emergency Clinic tonight? She is very alert, like I wrote and she is now climbing up my chest. But she just let out another breath again.

If it will ease your mind to bring her to an emerg clinic and you have the money to do so, go for it but I don't think it is needed. It would purely be for peace of mind. I'd call the new clinic in the morning and set up an appointment for asap.

If shes not wheezing I wouldn't worry to much, it might just be the issue with her mouth making the noise.

You could also raise her night time temps to help her out

I don't think you need a vet for the little " sighs" she is giving unless they persist and seem present tomorrow and more pronounced, or breathing is more labored. She's already on an antibiotic, so maybe just see what your vet says. As far as whether or not she has mouth rot, if she does, it may be just the beginning, and according to what I've read, the prognosis for recovery is really good...you can try applying dilute betadine or Nolvasan twice daily, and make sure her temps. are good in her tank. I agree with the others that said to discontinue the hot pack at night. It may even create too much humidity, and even too much heat without humidity is bad for beardies at night as they need a lower temp. in order for the body to rest at night.

Ok. Now I am not sure if it is wheezing? She has never done this so often? but it's like every few minutes she does this thing where it's like if a human was pursing their lips together and blowing out air. It's loud enough for me to hear, but definitely not like when a human wheezes.
