I've read that bearded dragons can eat dandelion leaves but was wondering that if I found them outside should I just rinse them in cold water or boil them to ensure that they are clean?
Thanks.
I just rinse under water the leaves I pick outside. It's from my own backyard and I know there hasn't been pesticides appiled for the past 8 years at least. I do not pick those right by the street in case dogs or horses peed on them (I tell the same thing to my kids about wild raspberries and blueberries). My beardie loves the leaves, he prefers them uncut!
I am wondering if I should plant some inside to have a supply during winter... :?
Feed them raw, just make sure they are picked some place you know there isn't any chemiclas. Some organic stores will carry them or you can find seeds on ebay to grow your own.
