Do I have to use crickets for the baby?

I HATE crickets. I have never had a baby before but just got an 8 weeks( give or take) one today. Can I eschew crickets for worms? And if so, what worms would be best at this age? I give my adult phoenix/repti-worms, superworms, waxworms, etc..... can I just feed very small worms such as these to the girl instead of crickets? I am generally not queasy about things like this, but crickets are bad, I even had to buy some long feeding tongs for the superworms, which are, in my opinion, WAY too SUPER.

i give my 4 babies a mixture of baby roaches and phoenix worms. they especially love the phoenix worms.

roaches would be almost as bad as crickets, but I love hearing you use phoenix worms instead!
