Bless Dino's heart, still pulling for you both. You are braver than I am, I dont think I could debrid that area as well as you are doing. Poor baby, that looks so painful but you are doing a wonderful job with Dino. Prayers for you both.

Thanks everyone for the prayers and healthy wishes...we need 'em. So, just to update: Today Dino was feelin' frompy. She was just hiding under her ramp all day, out of the light. She ate breakfast though, so that's good. One of the side effects of the meds is sensitivity to light/sunlight. I turned her UVB off but she's still hiding. Not the first day that she's done this. Her eyes probably hurt in the light a bit. Looks like it's still spreading to me. Her nostril on the bad side is getting more swollen and red. I really, really don't wanna debride near there either. Just putting SSD cream on everything. Vet will have to decide what to debride and what not. I read up on debriding and sometimes if the crust is hard and firm to the tissue beneath, it's recommended to leave it. Don't know about with yellow fungus, but, I've stopped with where I got so far. If anymore needs to come off, I'm just gonna let the vet do it. I'm sure it will be much quicker with pain meds and surgical tools than with wet gauze and sloooowly lifting it off the way I'm doing it. So, that's the update. Will post again soon. So here's the report: The vet seems to think her face looks better. It's nice & pink and healthy looking where I debrided that area. She is back on ceftazidime shots. Another round of 7 shots. I will continue to give her voriconozole orally. There is another beardie currently being treated for YF also. They've been on Intraconozole for 7 months now. That's the short version.... I've got so much stuff to do right now. I'll try to give more details later tonight or tomorrow. =)

So here's more details: I am going to see when I can get Dino back in there to get her fully debrided by the vet. There are areas of her face that I just don't want to do. I'm NOT touching that front foot. She pressed on that "index finger" that I think she's gonna lose and I think Dino saw stars! Vet took pics this time so she could track progress and I told her I have an album online that tracks her from the day before the biopsy. Sending her that link today. Gonna cost about $200 to have all the debriding done by them. I'm fine with that.
