Digging

My beardie started to dig sometime last week and now digs every day. Is this common for beardies, or is he bored or sick? I don't know whether to take him out more often, or, if he is sick, to do something... but I don't know what.

How old is he? Could he possible be a she because if he is a she than she could be getting ready to lay eggs.

You were right! My beardie is a she! When I first got her, the guy at the pet store told me that she was a he. So today my beardie (Kentle) layed eggs. Unfortunatly they weren't fertile because we have never bred her.
