desert horned lizard

there is a desert horned lizard in my local pet shop, its really cool. ive seen a few shows that have shown these on, but what are they like to keep and raise?

I was considering a horned myself. From what I have learned, and please correct me if I'm wrong. They don't get very big, at least nothing like a beardie, maybe 9-11 inches at the biggest. Most don't like to be handled. I guess you could say they are a show lizard or just to be looked at. It just stresses them out be touched. They are insectivores, insect eater only. But like all reptile they should have a basking area with UVA and a UVB light. Calcium sand is alright but I would use reptile carpet. Hope this helps.
