Demonstration Speech for school using my beardie.

anyone have any ideas on what i could do to make it last ten minutes?

what do you have so far? then maybe we can give you ideas to add on.
Just a list such as
food
where they are from
etc.....

food (this can last a while; things he eats, what yours hates, what he loves, things he cant eat)
how they grow/shed
how they defend themselves
brumation
feeding
habitat/viv
mating
how to know if its a girl or boy
how/where they sleep/the hours of bed time
what not to do (sand for example) if you own one.
:arrow: describe the maintenance and how you must care for it just as much as a dog or whatever else

Also personal dragon things like :

what he does that makes you laugh
where he likes to crawl
how he treats you as a slave (yup, we are all slaves lol)

this could last an hour!

Thanks guys that helped alot, i will talk to my Speech teacher and see what she says. I mean i know what you're saying but like.. thats more of like an about bearded dragons speech instead of a demonstration, you know? but like i said i can talk to her, and as for the first post, i have nothing yet, that is exactly why i am asking.

"demonstration" is a bad word for this, mainly because reptiles are lazy o.o

Wow, just start talking! I talk about how their natural habitat is same/different from their captive habitat (comparing the sun to heat lamp/UVB, the ground vs. substrate, diet, etc) and I can fill up half an hour, easy. My problem would be LIMITING the speech to 10 minutes!

Best advice I have was the remark I got when I did one for our senior project (about 10 years ago). Don't make it to broad! I got a bad mark cause I did mine on bowling and EVERYTHING about bowling. It was a 45 min speech they were bored off their ass by the 1st 15 min. So I would maybe just do 1 or two things and see where your at. Might only even need 1. That was my experience anyway hope it helps. Who thought overdoing it would give ya bad marks, I just was making sure I would pass!

haha! thats funny. but yes thank you for that advice, i dont even think i could talk that long so its okay! hehe
