I'm not sure if Hawksbeard is ok for beardies. You can buy true dandelion seeds online and grow them yourself if you like. I just buy them at my local grocery store. To see the difference in Dandelion and Hawksbeard, do a youtube search. (I'm sort of a herb nerd lol) :study:

I actually looked up Hawksbeard and Dandelion and whats in my yard is Dandelion. Hawksbeard has more of a tall lanky looking stem. It would be pretty hard to mistake them for one another. And plus the Dandelion's bloom is much more thicker and more dense than a Hawksbeard. I know you are just trying to help but they look nothing alike! Dandelion is a Dandelion! Thanks for your info though. As that could just be where I live ya know. Maybe I grow Dandelion and someone else in a different state has Hawksbeard! It just had me worried because I feed my Charlie those and to find out now they may be harmful is a little scary. Thats why people need to kinda pay attention to what they say and research it before they go and say hey this could hurt your beardie although you have already fed it to him his whole life! Ya know? I mean yeah they kinda look a little like one another but not enough to mistake them. Plus Hawksbeard is way taller than the average little Dandelion! Hawksbeard is actually called Crepis. They are usually pink, yellow, and orange. Just a little fun fact for ya. lol Im sorry if I offend anyone or make anyone mad I am just putting this out there that way no one will be worried as to what is a Dandelion and what isnt. If you see a Dandelion in your yard pick it and give it to your beardie. The only time you should be worried is if your grass is over a foot tall and surely it never is but if it is then maybe thats the time to start worrying about Hawksbeard. lol
