Custom Wooden Setup

Just curious if a custom tank built out of wooden pallets would be ok? I've seen some pictures of a few but I thought maybe that would be too much air flow ventilation. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd be careful with pallets as I don't know what they are treated with. Melamine is a popular cheap building material. Try something like this https://beardies.dreamwidth.org/2145.html

Someone else said the same thing, can you sand them and seal them?

Possibly, but I don't think the cost savings would be worth the risk. If you decide to do that, be sure to put on several coats of polyurethane and let them set well before putting them into use.

The wood is free and already assembled, all I have to do is sand and seal it really good, then install a door and decorate
