Hello, everyone! I did post here a while back, but I have since changed my mind.

I would like to buy a custom enclosure, preferably something lightweight and stackable (I would love to have another beardie, so a must!

So far, I am reeeeeaaaaallly leaning towards an Animal Plastics T12 or T20, but I have some questions, about them. If I was to go on to buy from AP, what features should I add? I'm a little overwhelmed.

Also, should I go with a 4x2x2, or a 5x2x2? Are there any differences between the two I should note? (An extra light fixture, etc..)

I would love to hear about any company you've gotten an enclosure from, I'm open to ideas!
(Who to avoid, or, if you had a fine time, if there was anything you would have done differently!)

Honestly, building one your self is pretty easy and will save you a lot of money. You can make them stackable, too.

There are a lot of places will cut pieces to size for you. Our small town local place does it for free. That is usually the biggest problem for people.

If you just don't have the time or desire, you could always look for a local craftsman that can build it for you (if there is not a company near you who already does it). I know there are places for graphic designers to go bid on projects and show their portfolio, so I would bet there might be something for other crafts. Before my husband started collecting tool and doing projects, we just asked around to find someone to build our aquarium stand and hood.

As much as I would love to be able to build my own enclosure and have full creative control, I really can't. I will be moving Mushu downstairs, where my 90 gallon Hermit Crab tank currently is, and that clocks in at 500+ ish pounds, and I'd rather not stress that area or floor anymore than necessary, and my parents share the same sentiment.

I have tried looking locally, but haven't found anyone who can make anything lightweight and stackable. I am in Virginia, and will travel 3+ hours for pick up or expos, does anyone have any suggestions there?

I really love the look of those! I'd almost give up on the stacking concept with that style. They are rather expensive than my other options, but I am seriously keeping that in mind!

Has anyone used those before?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
