Cupid Cuteness new pics 4/10

I just wanted to share some pics of Cupid starting with the day we got her. She has a nasty spunky lil attitude and I love her like crazy!

Right when my husband got her for me for valentines day!

get this dang carrot away from me and clean my dirty house mommy! grrrrr!

fun in the bathtub lastnight! (wish i got a pic of the cuddles after, but if i put a camera in her face she always tries to eat it and i had finally gotten her to cuddle. so the cuddle time was private :wink: )

after lastnight we put her in her newly redone house with tile...and i forgot to get a pic of her IN IT! lol but here is a pic of the empty house right after we put the tile and stuff in it.

yes! she cuddled me in a blankie without trying to eat me!!! i think it was the bath... she has never had a bath before. i put some water in the tub and she ran/swam around. then she let me pick her up and here i found a pic of her in her blankie! then she let me hold her for a few before we put her in her newly remodeled home. I also have held her twice today. i think this whole bath thing will be good for us. she actually let me pet her in the bath and almost like play with her WITHOUT GLOVES!!!
i put her in her home and cried my eyes out i was sooooo happy! she investigated and then propped herself up at an odd angle against the glass as they tend to do lol and fell fast asleep.

first hope ive felt for her in a long while. i just hugged my husband and cried. then i felt dumb for crying about a lizard not trying to eat me alive tee hee. Last night just gave me the umph i needed to keep trying with her. My husband said Cupid and i need to keep working with each other with bath and cuddle time using it as therapy sessions. (of course he has no intention of joining in but will watch. he is a pansy lol)

Thank you so much for your advice! also I have been working on taking it slow and working on my different approach after reading your advice. such as trying more and more to picking her up from side and letting her smell me etc.

Update on Cupid!
Since i learned she was supposed to bathe, she has had two baths and has enjoyed them a lot. We got a lot of interaction and time to play out of them! and even a lil cuddle time! She still has a bit of an attitude, but I am excited because she has had her first amazing shed and she feels softer and looks brighter and happier! She still attacks me daily and gets mad when I take off the lid of the enclosure. but not EVERY time! thats a start!

Cupid showing a bit of color after all that itchy skin came off!!

I also went yesterday and got her crickets, endive, blueberries, mustard greens, cucumber, squash, goliath worms. (wanted to get silk worms or repti-wrms but the store was out!)
dusted the crickets with "minner-all" calcium and mineral suppliment and gave her about 20. then gave her some of the greens with like 3 tiny blueberries smished/chopped on top to entice her...(no it didnt work lol) any more advice about shedding or feeding anyone would like to give?

She looks like she is brightening up more since her substrate change and baths being incorporated. I am happy she is still showing progress, you to will be cuddles in no time. Keep up the great work.

my Cupid let me cuddle her and clip her toenails! (after biting me several times and wiggling til she was too tired to fight anymore lol)
She fought like the dickens at first and I kept calmly telling her to stop hurting me and stop being scared. That i am her mommy and i love her. I am no longer jumpy or afraid around her, which makes her calm down a lot more quickly every time i pick her up! we are making progress! and i have to share these cute pics! lol

lastnight she fell asleep on my lap for the first time!!! eeeekkk! im soooo excited!
sorry the pic was so dark my husband had to try to lighten it up in photoshop but u can still see her all sleepy on my lap!

then i tucked her in bed lol
