Crixs outside???

Hi , Am wondering if you can keep crickets outside, in the cricket container in a open box?? Would they be ok to give to beardie? The chirppins driving me insane

I never have so I dont know.
I would think if left outside the bugs could be contaminated with wild insects.

I remember seeing a story on TV of this girl who made protein shakes from plants she grew in her backyard. She didn't know that her Gardener sprayed Rat-Poison all over the yard to keep away pests. She was getting sick, and thought the protein shakes would help her recover, so she drank more. More and more and more, until the blood vessels in her brain exploded and she died.

I know, humans are different from Bearded Dragons, but I'm sure you get my gist.

There is 2 options, buy crickets known as Silent Crickets, I'm sure you're smart enough to figure out what those do.

Or, put them in a different room and close the door. Works for me, lol. They're in the room right next to me, and I sleep fine. Though I do have an amazing orthopedic waterbase pillow...

Ditch the crix. Check out dubias. They're quiet, except for some scuttling, better for your beardie that crix and they don't stink. Right now I have both and I prefer dubias any day!!!!
