Crickets are hiding!

There's a crevice in the driftwood that is Katie's perch and there are crickets hiding in there. I can't tell how many are in there so I can't tell if she's eating or just letting them get away! Ugh!

Try feeding in a seperate bin, that way you can keep track of how many she's eaten and it also makes it easier to clean out the ones she doesn't eat so that they aren't left in her viv.

Like most breeders we keep cage decoration limited to a tile or basking rock. I became frustrated with this early on, and we're much happier looking at a beautiful basking beardie than a rock garden with a dragon inside.

Try using some tape to block off the holes where the crickets are hiding...or teach him to eat in a separate feeding bin like someone suggested. This worked well for Zander, and he learned he better eat when he's in it, or he'll have to wait for his next meal. Kora on the other hand didn't take to the idea and would rather eat in her cage in peace. Try blocking off the holes somehow if you can so they can't hide!
