Cricket Sizes

I normally fed my juvi some 1/4 crickets but I started feeding him some full grown adults and he loves them. How many in comparision should I give compared to 1/4? He could eat between 15-25 of the 1/4.

I would still go by how much they want because the exact number will vary. Bigger crickets are likely to be more filling but just keep offering them in small batches on the same schedule.

I didn't offer full adult size to my young beardies (Peppa and Toothless) until they were about 12 months old (and 466g and 345g respectively). Well to be more precise 2/3 size crickets who were a week older so a few mm short of full size.

If the crickets are larger than the space between his eyes they are too big.
