Cookie laid eggs...AGAIN

I'm sorry I've been sucky at keeping up. School has got my schedule crazy and I've started going back to the gym 3 nights a week, fitness bootcamp... :shock: ...Kicking my butt!

Anyway Cookie is sooo fat again, she looks like she is ready to lay again anytime and today she started refusing food. It was only 19 days between the 1st and 2nd so we will see how long it takes her this time.

I'm having some problems with the eggs, but its my first time so I was sure I would. I had one with fuzzy mold that I removed and placed by itself and I have a few that have dry spots on the top, I'm not sure what to do about them or if they will hatch at all.

I'm off tomorrow so I will take a pic of her fat budda belly and post I promise.

Gosh I understand about being busy. I just wanted to check and see. So this is your girls 2nd, how is the 1st clutch doing? Jub made it to her vet appointment and is now back home and laying her 3rd clutch. As far as your eggs go we had little issues too. Humidity levels and we did have 2 get a small bit of mold. I gently wiped it off with a paper towel and you can't even tell today that it ever had that. First timers here so we are learning as we go. Thanks for the update

Well when Jub was all done last night she laid 18 eggs. I hope that this clutch (her 3rd) will be her last one and the poor girl needs a break. Plus we have no room left in the incubator. Sounds like Cookie will be laying again. How exciting. I'm so glad you were able to adopt them and now they have a great home

Well 2 nights ago Cookie laid her 3rd clutch...17 more eggs in the incubator. Pics to follow soon. Here are some of her this weekend eating squash babyfood!

Oh she is so sweet and I love the pic with the squash lol Glad to hear she laid her clutch # 3 wow i wonder if there will be a #4? How is she doing now? Resting and eating I'm sure. How are your other eggs doing in the incubator?
Jub is showing signs that something is up, I won't know for sure till the end of the week but she just may be on to #4! We have babies now. We have 5 in the baby tank, 1 in the incubator that will graduate tonight, 1 with it's head out and 3 that have collapsed. So today will be a busy day for sure. The babies are all doing wonderfully. They are soooooo cute

SHe is doing great! I gave her like a 15 min soak after she laid and she fell asleep in the burrito. Since she laid right about the time lights go out I fed her the next day. I just bought a 100 supers 500 crickets and 100 waxworms because she is eating like a horse.

I'm so glad to hear Jub is doing well. I wanna see pics of the babies PLEASE!!!

Oh glad to hear she is doing so well. They sure do eat a ton I joke with my husband that she will eat us out of house and home and we already have 2 teenagers that do that lol Oh sure I will post pics for you they are so cute and now another nose is sticking out of a shell. Busy busy. I will switch to the other computer and send you some pics

She is at it again, she is almost like clock-work...17days since her last lay. I'll update with how many when she's done.

Funny Jub just laid clutch #4 just like clockwork also. I think this will be her last one as out of the 18 laid only 7 were fertile. Can't wait to here Cookie's update

Well I hope this is Cookies last time laying because I'm running out of room in the incubator. She laid 23 more... :shock:

I thought they were supposed to lay less and less with each lay? She's now laid 12, 13, 17, and 23. First 12 were tossed by her previous owner, the next 13 for sure didn't make it, they were all black and moldy. The third cluth of 17 ALL but 1 looks awesome. So we will have to see what pans out with this last clutch and see if she's done.

She got a nice soak and lots to eat and is sleeping now. I think she has just gotten healthier so she has laid more each time.

Jubs have increased by every clutch at well. We are out of room in the incubator but we do have a clutch ready to hatch any day. I really do believe #4 was her last one. Hope Cookie is doing well, and all of your eggs! How long until you expect babies? Our first babies are 3 weeks today! They all just had their 1st shed and are measuring about 5 1/2" They eat great and are all so very social. What an experience this has been and continues to be
