Hi all, I'm after a little advice. I'm going to start a project of converting a dresser/cabinet into a viv, but one main worry for me is will the wood catch fire from either heat bulb or uv light?

Hello,

The wood should not catch on fire as long as the lights are strategically placed & not sitting directly on the wood. Adequate ventilation is helpful, too. We have open air, wooden tanks using hardware cloth & have used them for years without any issues.
Do you plan on sealing the wood with polyurethane also, or is it already sealed & finished?

It's not yet finished, I will be placing them each end and not directly on the wood and as I live in the UK is polyeutherane available here? If not what's a good alternative ?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
