Combinable Stacking Cages?

I am building a set of 3 stackable cages and was wondering if I could make a trap door that leads down to a ramp into another enclosure below it.I plan on having Benni on top where he can't see the females and then Igneous and then Athena.I want to make it so that sometimes Athena and Igneous can be together.

You could put them on top of each other and then cut a big enough square and then put plexiglass with hinges and the top of the bottom viv.

Is your question about whether or not you can make a 'trap door'? Absolutely yes, if you are custom building the enclosure you can do whatever you want.

If the question is whether or not two BDs should be in the same enclosure, that's debatable. If their temperament allows it, sure. Just be careful as it could lead to fighting / injury.
