Hi, that's great that you found some phoenix worms and he ate 12 of them. Since they are so high in calcium, you don't need to dust those worms.

Do you think the crickets were too fast for him, did he close his eyes when you put them in the tank?

No, I don't think they were too fast. He just didn't seem interested. He'd just stand there for a few minutes and then want out. I was feeding him in a little plastic container, kind of like a plastic shoe box. He had no problems a few days ago eating them. I don't know what the problem is. I'm glad that he ate some worms though. He needed to eat something. I hope he's okay.

You were right about the shed. Just tonight I've seen that he has started a complete shed. No wonder he wouldn't eat today.

So, he is doing a full body shed then, that certainly would explain the decline in appetite. How is he doing now?

He's doing great--eating good. He even ate a few bites of mustard greens when I hand-fed them to him. Won't eat them out of the bowl yet though. He's been eating a few crickets and Phoenix worms. He doesn't eat a whole lot of anything but is eating regularly. And pooing regularly.

I read about your ordeal. Unbelievable. I had to smile at your descriptions of the babies and their blankies.

Guess what my dragon has been doing? He had a recent non eating streak just like your baby and now he'll eat like 5 supers and 100 crix! lol....lil pig.

Great Pics!He is so cute.Enjoy it now because you will blink and you will swear some big mean beardie came and swallowed your beardie and took his place.Sure the markings and colors will be the same but you will wonder where the little baby you brought home went anyway :wink:

He is eating quite well and pooping regularly is great. Thanks for posting those pictures, couldn't wait to see your little baby. Hey, did you come up with a name yet?

I'm not sure if he's eating enough. He has just been eating an average of 7 crickets in the morning and the same at night. That's all he will eat. Sometimes in the afternoon I'll hand feed him some mustard greens but he just has 2 or 3 small bites. This morning was the first morning that he registered on the scales!! FIVE GRAMS. He's acting fine though and poos every day. I've ordered some more Phoenix worms but they won't be here until maybe Wednesday. I'm very sceptical abouth there being 150 worms in those containers. As few as he ate at a sitting they didn't even last a week!

Well he isnt eating as much as he should yet but thats probably relocation stress.What size crix are you feeding?Where are you getting the PW from? I always get the 100 count but there is always more then that in there.
