cholla cactus wood

Came across cholla cactus wood and am thinking about adding it to my enclosure. First off it's a desert cactus and has been sand blasted and I know it must be baked prior to adding it to the cage. please give me your opinion.

Bake it in the oven at 250*F for an hour... you're good.

I have a ton of it that Ive used for my hermit crabs, but I havent used any in Winks viv yet. IMO it would look pretty cool though!

I've actually used that in soft fresh water planted fish tanks in the past... But for a dragon, it should be just fine... Make sure it is well braced... don't want that to fall on lil Wink...

Trying to recreate a desert environment and thought why not use true desert wood. For bracing thinking of using suc. cup to keep the wood ib place. Also saw some roots on a reptile site called black jungle.

wow it looks like it might be worth the cost to have hmmmmm it says sandblasted and untreated with chemicals so i would assume it is good right out of the box to put in your enclosure

When I used it in my hermits tank, I had a suction cup with a hook on it and I would put the hook through the holes in the wood to keep it up. Sometimes the section cups fall down though, so it might be a good idea to tape the suction cups on to the glass.
I have this HUGE piece of it that is "Y" shaped, and its pretty neat! But the holes in the middle of it are probably big enough for Wink to get into, so I wont give it to him untill he is bigger.
