What a cutie! He looks extremely content
Even though they're the same critter, it's so awesome to see how different they can all look. He looks so different from Richter.

It was a very beautiful day here so I took Richter on a walk (carried/rode my shoulder with my hand on him) around the general area, then he got to help mow the lawn!

P.s. sometimes when I read the title of this post, I think spoiled brat, like the sausage (braht) so like Charlie is a spoiled sausage :silent:

Hi reading your post about your lizards weight and age... our bubble is 345lb and is only 8months old... do you think he's over weight? Or is that okay for a large lizard of his age? He's 16inches long

Really hope you mean grams, not pounds, because otherwise your dragon weighs more than twice as much as me.

In grams, your dragon is likely on track if 16"

Just for comparison Charlie is only 6 to 6 1/2 months old...I don't consider him fat just big. Makes me wonder how big he will be at full size ?

Alucard needs to grow into the hat, lol.
I plopped it on Richter after a head bobbing session.

I got the hat at a craft store for $1. They had only hats that style

i love the HATS!! i used to do that with Lizarto, i used to dress her up. i got to find a picture of her in a hat! she was basically wearing clothes :lol: :lol:

Charlie's weight went up a little bit this week (up to 439g) but his length stayed put. He ate crickets!!! The ladies I deal with at Petsmart taught me a trick I have never heard of before. They have shallow metal dishes - that are usually for cats - and if you put only a few crickets in they, for whatever reason, do NOT jump out. I bought the dish and 20 crickets thinking it was worth a shot - and it worked!!! I don't know why, but they don't jump out and I watched Charlie eat some just this morning! WOOT! I call that a win!

Woah! I wonder if the surface is too slippery for them. That's a great trick!

I think it has to be that. Either way, Charlie is very happy NOT to chase them. I'm just really happy that it worked! Crickets are MUCH cheaper and healthier than waxworms and butterworms...
