ceramic or slate?

whats the difference , and wich is safer?

I don't know if one is safer than the other but I use slate. My beardie's nails were getting too long and the slate sure helps to keep them down. I use a spray bottle with water to clean off the poop and then rubbing alcohol on the area to disinfect as recomended by my beardie's breader. She likes it and it's easier to keep clean than the paper towel.

i have ceramic tiles and i hate them i had to put non addesive shelf liner on them so my beardies will not slip around on the tile i want to replace the tile with slate tile but just dont have the cash at the moment i would recommend slate tiles u will not be dissapointed
