Ceramic Heat Emitter Questions

Obie's temperatures are already dropping to 65 degrees at night and its not even winter yet so I am going to get a ceramic heat emitter soon when I order some other supplies like supplements. My question is what wattage to get? I have never needed a CHE in the past. My enclosure is a 4x2x2 similar to the crossfire design and has dark slate tiles.

Any suggestions on brand/wattage? I want the most energy efficient to save on electrical usage because I don't want to waste electricity or money.

Also most if not all CHE's can be used with dimmers correct?

I all depends how far it is to the spot he sleeps, but I would use a 100watt. You only have to raise the night time temps about 5 - 7 degrees. I have nighttime temps of 74 degrees. Keep the receipt to try different ones.I have the same size tank.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
