Car ride?

Where do your beardies like to ride at when you take them places with you? I was looking at making a hammock for my big guy for car rides since he will go with me often.

Sometimes my guys like to ride on the dashboard if we're on an expressway with few turns/stops. Otherwise they like to either sit on my wife's shoulder or in their duffel bag with fleece at the bottom. If you're traveling alone I'd keep them in a duffel bag or big shoebox so they're more secure. Don't want to have them dart off and cause a crash if you need to react to them.

I try to avoid taking mine on a car ride, as even the smallest collision could prove fatal. Not shaming people who do, I realize its a small risk , my mind works in funny ways I guess, As i would be obsessive the whole trip lol. That being said, I do occasionally take them places with me , and when I do , I like to put them in a sterilite tub, wedged into the backseat floorboard.

I agree with that to an extent. I don't bring my guys around town with me and don't cause them the stress of moving them from their familiar habitat except when I have to go away on a trip. Especially if they need meds or extra attention. Car rides are definitely a risk but I do like bringing them along on the occasional road trip. My guys have seemed to enjoy exploring a new place but they're all a bit different and not every dragon may enjoy it.
