Canned pumpkin and dandelions

I heard you can feed a bearded dragon canned pumpkin and dandelions. It this true? If so, can you feed them these things daily? Also, where do you buy dandelions that are safe for bearded dragons?

Canned pumpkin is squash so can be fed daily. Just make sure it's 100% pumpkin, no spices. Dandelions are a great staple greed, I'd get them from an organic store to make sure they've not been sprayed with anything. During the right season you can pick dandelions wild as long as you can find out that they've not been sprayed by pesticides or are near a busy street. I feed butternut squash to my dragons, collard greens and bok choy. There is a great nutrition list at www.beautifuldragons.com under Nutrition. check it out, there are all sorts of foods you can feed dragons that you'd never think. Squash of any sort is daily, so are collard greens. Dandelions are right up there with turnip greens and mustard greens. Hope this helps.
