can i use plywood

to make an enclosure for my bearded dragon i know the smell is strong so how would i get rid of it?

Well i know we varnished ours on the outside, and that helped.

now if i varnish the hole sheet of plywood would that be okay even when the tank heats up with the lamps?

look for water based and non-toxic varnish only.. if you use anything else, you might as well put your beardie in a gas chamber.
