I haven't found a definite ratio for the dubia. They are supposed to be better than crickets, though, reportedly having more calcium and less phosphorus. They still need to be dusted with calcium powder.

Insect - Fat% - Protien% - Calcium PPM - Potassium PPM
Dubia - 6.8 - 24.5 - 625 - 2320
Cricket - 6.0 - 21.3 - 345 - 4238
Mealworm - 12.7 - 20.3 - 133 - 3345
Superworm - 17.2 - 17.4 - 124 - 2320
Pheonix Worm - 9.4 - 17.3 - 8155 - 5355
Butterworm - 6.5 - 16.2 - 9525 - 5215
Hornworm - 3.1 - 9.5 - 9222 - ????

Got these from multiple sources around the web. It varies a little, depending on what you gutload with. I've seen higher calcium values on some websites for dubias, but I took more of an average value. I've seen as high as 1750, and low of 285. *shrug*

ah thankyou, its nearly double the calcium in dubia's than in crickets. But i always thought there was alot more protein in dubias than in crickets too, not just 3%.

Without knowing how much Phosphorus is in a feeder, you can't really come to too many conclusions about whether it is better than another feeder. Phosphorus prevents calclium from being absorbed, and bearded dragons need to have a 2:1 calcium - phosphorus ratio in their diet. It's been said that dubia is better in both areas, but I haven't found consistent information on them!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
