Nightmare, its strange that all of our lizard friends are shedding right now! Even Naughtica is going through a full body shed, and shes 5 years old lol.

Would the wild bird seed be a good substrate for a bearded dragon? Would the seed cause blockage if they ate it? I have never seen this used for a substrate before

I would not recommend it for bearded dragons.

Bearded dragons aren't really known for chewing really, they are more likely to just get it in their mouth and swallow.

Calcifer licks up one seed at a time, cracks it in her mouth, and chews it up.

Tiles would be a much better option for Bearded dragons.
