Crazy thing, Gaulam went into a slight (3 week) sleeping almost everyday all day, hardly eating but, has now come out of that and shed again. What an odd lizard. LOL

Someone said earlier about them looking like a turtle without a shell, I was thinking the exact same thing =O

Hey, I was just looking at your thread and thought your uro is really cool! I've looked into them before like at deerfernfarms but I was just wondering your personal opinion. Which do you like better, beardie, or uro? Also which is harder to care for, I know Uros are herbivores which is pretty cool. How easy would it be if beardies only needed plants ? I'm not really planning on getting one, I was just further interested in Uros by your thread.
My reply:
Hey there Samus! Thanks for the interest in the thread!
I can't say which i like better because I love Calcifer and I also love beardies.
The easier pet, imo, is a uro. As long as you can get the basking temperature up pretty high, they are pretty easy to care for. They are much harder to get them comfortable in your hand, Unlike a beardie. If you want a pet you can cuddle with, beardies are definitely easier. My uro has never attacked me, he has never even opened his mouth at me, but he is not the cuddling type. and from talking to other owners, uros aren't really the cuddling type and it takes much more time to get them to that point.
