I guess that's my problem, we aren't cat people. Neither of us wants cats, mainly because we don't want to take a chance with our beardies.

Maybe Dawn, except Beefy doesn't much care for many people... :lol: ...he disappears when we have company. He even runs away when my daughter is here a lot of the time. He's a skitzoid. :lol:

Lori on the other hand Beefy loves beardies and not to eat or mess with. His best animal friends are Itty Bitty and Gus.
I love when he cuddles and sleeps on the bed or in the window sill with them. He tends to guard them from the other cats too. :love5:

Well I've already fed all the animals and it's to windy and cold outside right now to tend to my garden....so I guess I'll go watch crickets hatch....hope everyone is have as relaxing of a day as I am. :wink:

That's a good cat to keep around. One that will protect the beardies instead of trying to eat them. I told Bill about the suggestion to borrow Beefy to us and he said "why?" He (and me too) aren't cat people. Besides, Barb and us live to far away to make it easy to do that.

Maybe one of these days we will be able to come and visit our favorite two/one beardies Zak-n-Wheezie.

Oh, yes, Barbara, were you the one who sent all this wind to us? Wednesday, the wind was soo bad in downtown Sierra Vista a fire started in someones back yard and the wind quickly took that fire and spread it so it destroyed one home and seriously damaged two other homes. Monday last two businesses were damaged by fire. I am thankful for one thing. We have two fires up on the mountains where the monument fire was last year, but as of Wednesday evening one was completely contained and the other (newer) one was 70% contained. This is good because the wind Wednesday was really bad, so bad Bill couldn't see the homes across the street (I was at work and noticed it really bad there also).

um, what? Cold? Cali? Either you're having a blonde moment, or my brain just blipped!!! It was 97 here today, with 75% + humidity ... ugh. We're. meltttttttiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg.......................

Sounds like the summers when I lived in Montreal, melting is the word, 100F + 100% humidity, one of the reasons I moved out here. The humidity gets high but only when it's raining, but here 63% humidity on a sunny day is high, so great!

I'm going to just love it when the babies hatch, Barbara, they're going to be just awesome, then Digi & Pookies babies will hatch about 2 mo from now, babies, babies. So many babies & no room at my inn!

I got the seeds this am by the way, never got the ones you mailed, but that's just the postal service. Getting a planter tomorrow. So what do I plant them in, I have garden soil that's full of compost, it's rich & black but I should probably add some peat moss with that? I've never grown anything from seed before, so not quite sure what to do. I'll call you tomorrow to ask if I don't get a post. I'll at least get the planter, as I'll be going early tomorrow am, then I'll call you after I get back from gym, don't want to call too early!

Be very careful, getting one of Barbara's babies! She supercharges them, so they GROW. Spoils them rotten, so they pop out of the shipping box, demanding service. And she lets her other beardies teach them how to whip the new slave into shape fast! It's terrible, no human stands a chance against her brood.

Yes, I can guess who's jealous! But you're right about Barbara's brood and they're huge at birth, so just get hungrier, so whoever gets her babies must have a huge amount of food available!
