My Princess is sleeping!!! And it stinks.. No more playing with her or nothing shes under her hide out just sleeping!! Who else has a beardie that is sleeping?? You would know how I feel!! haha
Oh no, you're far from being the only one. Many of us with multiple babies have at least one who's currently brumating, and trust me, it's no fun.
It's because of this that we end up with new babies during the brumation months
Ahh yeah im just so boredd and I dont have another beardie that I can handle cause my king is about 5 months but hes got a fear of humans so I just get to work with him that its.
my girl has been sleeping alot but she is up every morning for 2-3 hours so I can at least feed, bath and play with her then, After that she is hiding and sleeping until the next morning, sometimes she down for a couple days at a time.
Yeah brumation stinks.....lol. My Jax is currently brumating but my 7 month old is wide awake and needs LOTS of taming so I am working with him currently.
My Phred has been asleep for about 2 months now.. I don't plan on seeing him for another month or more.. However I have 5 other beardies that keep me busy at this time!
Yeah. you are all probably used to it my last adult Ezra didn't so this is my first one and she just went down maybe 2 weeks ago... but in the mean time I do have some taming to do... :study:
I have plenty to keep me busy, but I do miss them when they are down. This is my first winter with beardies, so this is all new to me. Ray is awake some but not eating and hasn't for over a month now I think. Drago sleeps for about four days and then I wake him to hydrate and then he's off again. Sezja is just slowed down on food and activity, but I can still love on her. Then I have my newest little guy who was starving at a pet store. I am busy fattening him up and taking care of my corns, dog, and my son.
I have 4 dragons and surprisingly I have yet to witness brumation. I thought one day one of my dragons did brumate, he went a whole day being asleep. The next day he was super active so I guess it was just a lazy day for him.
Kimba's sleeping right now, and you're right. It's no fun. I check in on him daily and he cracks an eye open and gives me the stink eye. He's up for a bit when I soak him weekly, then it's back to snooze. I can't wait for him to wake up.
Draco hasn't even shown signs of brumating. He's a year and three months old. Shouldn't he be brumating?? He's active and eating like a hog. Do you think he will do the brumation this year or will I get lucky?? Or should I be worried?? LMK please.
Well I've heard that some dragons just don't go into Burmination if my research is right. I also i've heard that it only happens to dragons that are 1+ years old. LMK if i'm wrong on this.
Im needing some questions answered about my female beardeddragon, I honestly have no idea on age , she was a recuse, as ive had a couple in my life an have experience. So 9 weeks in , she earing well pooping well getting comfortable, then approx 3-4 days ago the digging started. So I got a dig box set up in her 75 g tank. Well within 2 hours she dropped an egg. Now only one egg an its been 10 hours.shouldiBworried

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
