Boy or Girl?

I've recently bought my "male" bearded dragon Elliot from Atomic Lizard Ranch, but now that "he's" here, I really think the breeder sexed "him" wrong :shock: Could I have some opinions? Is he and Elliot or an Ellie?! :lol:

That's a tough one, and Colette from Atomic has a lot of years of experience. I see the small single lump above the vent but there's an additional small shape above it. Try another pic like that but twist the tail very slightly and then another one with the tail not arched quite as high.

If it's still undecided, give it another month + then post here again.

I did my best but he's a squirmy little bugger. Also, my pictures seem so blurry when I post them here so I'm so sorry if it's hard to tell!

I agree it's kind of hard to tell at this point with those photos. You may want to try using a flashlight like this https://www.beardeddragon.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=204533 but may have to wait a little while to get a definitive answer as AHBD mentioned.

O.K, looks more like a male there. Like Cooper said, the flashlight trick can be of help too, but doesn't always work on smaller dragons.
