Wow! I am catching up on the forums here, and I hoped Bogie was back, but maybe he has tunneled in somewhere and will be back out when the ground warms. I loved Haley's story, (if this is how you write at twelve, I want to read your books when you are twenty-four!) and Sandy, pneumonia is no joke, take good care of yourself, and don't try to rush back into your schedule, it will slap you hard if you have not fully recovered. I've learned by experience when my son was a baby.
Something happened here about an hour ago, and maybe it will help bring Bogie home. I have kept crickets in a ten gallon aquarium with a fine mesh screen top. I brought it with me yesterday as I packed the remaining dragons and live feeders out of Hayward. I did not want to bring the crickets or superworms into my friends home because of the smell, so we found a spot in an open air shed, completely out of the sun. This afternoon, while working in the back yard, I heard one of my friends calling me. "Did one of your dragons get out by any chance? There is an 8" lizard that just ran under the lawn mower, and the locals are smaller than that." I went to my room, and everyone was in their tank, and the smallest here is about 10 inches long. I went out side to see. My cricket tank is sitting on uneven ground, just behind the lawn mower. In the space under the cricket tank a little alligator lizard, about 8 inches long, was trying to get the crickets it clearly saw thru the glass bottom of the tank, but just could not reach! It was wonderfully persistent in it's attempt to get those luscious, lovely bites of dinner, trying to bite them, but, with a puzzled look, asked "Why can't I reach these silly bugs?!?" :laughhard: As the weather warms up, a cricket tank with 40-50 crix might be a great attraction to help a hungry little beardie find his way home!
