Blondie's Pringles ~ Coco, Lexi, Crash & Psycho

So the decision was completely up to Carl, because Xena was his babygirl, and I know no-one else in the world can ever replace her... but he has always wanted to raise a baby dragon, seeing as how 3 of our 4 are rescues, and adults when we took them in...

So darn if they aren't totally like, well as fresnowitte says, P-R-I-N-G-L-E-S-!

So Carl picked out his baby... it'll take a little while to name her, we have to see her personality. Welcome into our hearts, little one... almost 14 inches / 166 grams / crazy hyper personality so far ...

As soon as we got her out of the packaging, she made a bee-line for my son's leg & pancaked out, so CJ got the first real snuggles, he's my little seatwarmer:

Barbara was worrying about finding this little guy a special home, and Carl fell in love with him/her too... so he's our "little guy/gal"... Quasi now looks huge, and Crash looks like Godzilla compared to these two!

So meet little guy / 60 grams / 11 inches ... so laid back, just watches everything going on, and eats and eats and eats (hand-fed salad today :mrgreen: )

Just a little stress going from Cali to Ohio...

Ooh, what's up here -- slowly progressed up the branches, then just watched us and all the activity in the room for about an hour...

yeah, I've been lurking on my favorite threads, just haven't felt up to posting much, my heart is starting to heal a little, but still breaks for Crash. We did get some re-arranging done, Coco is not in his spot, because one of the kids leaned on the soft table that Coco's viv was on... somehow torqued her viv just enough to make a crack in the bottom... so we're going to put her viv in the basement on the shelves for an emergency tank, she is now next to Psycho.

That opened up the soft table, so it was a toss-up between bringing Beetlejuice down from the mantle (kind of a pain to stand on the couch to get him / feed him etc when up on the mantle) ~ or bring Punkin back down from Carlye's room... she does get played with daily being in her room, but I've been on her to clean P's poo daily... that's my gripe... she wouldn't want to poo in her room and leave it there, well Punkin doesn't appreciate it laying there either... So Carlye needs to shape up or Punkin's coming back down here! I do go up and play with her when she's at school, sometimes she's awake during the day, so I peek in on her...

But for now, Beetlejuice will have the sofa table... not sure if it will stress him tho, we'll watch the situation to make sure he isn't being stressed out, or getting overly excited being a little closer to dragons :shock:

my biggest worry is that Beetlejuice & Lexi will be able to see each other... Lexi may think that she has scored the motherlode of all superworms... She's such a piggie. BJ gets his two weanling mice on a regular basis, so I don't think he'll be phased at another creature watching him... but I don't want to stress either of them, so we'll try it for a few days and watch closely. He can always go back up on the mantle if necessary.

Yes, Dawn, we all do, at least those of us who've lost beardies. It hurts every time, even when we hear of those that have died that we've only read about and seen the pics of them.

When someone, human or not, touches our souls so deeply, it may take as long as 6 months to stop crying (I still cry over Buddy's passing, and it'd been 8 months). But whatever you do, don't force yourself to not cry because you'll end up being like a gurgling volcano waiting to erupt.

well, we just got a fresh shipment of supers from GreatLakes, so I filled up everyone's tum-tums... we'll move snake a little later tonight, after humans' dinner, and after my meeting ~ I help with the library book sales and we have our organizational meeting tonight at 7

(I get first dibs on quilting / crafting mags by being a helper... last May, some old chick literally, probably 5 feet tall and about 75 years old, snatched the groupings of all the jewelry and quilting mags right from my hand as we were reaching at the same time to pick them up. You would have thought it was black friday at wallyworld! Needless to say, she had 11+ bundles of mags, about 30+ pounds worth that she was trying to balance... and would not share with anyone... well, I'm gonna show her snitty little butt, I'm getting them all this time, the night BEFORE the sale gosh darn it!)

Poor Psycho, for those that know her tormented history, and the fact that she has at least 7 personalities... and partial blindness...

Daddy took her outside this morning for some natural sunlight and a walk around the yard. A loud motorcycle went by, and she started shaking. Poor thing hates loud obnoxious noises. She shakes like she has parkinson's when she gets scared. Can't help but love the poor baby, she's such a nervous nellie.

Poor Psycho, tell her she's not the only one who gets scared with those darned loud motorcycles, poor baby. Did it take her long to settle down again? Sweet girl, I hope so.
If you want a laugh, check out my site, there are pics of Rubio with 6 mo old Thresh from Sunday night, he was a complete gentlebeardie & kept licking her, got lots of photos. Thresh belong to Jolene who lives 1/2 hr away from me, I helped her pick her out from a breeder & she's a beautiful little girl. If you have a minute, that is :lol:

I understand how it is with Psycho, Rosie seems to be afraid of horses. Where we live sometimes people ride by on their horses, or quads or such but for some reason she starts to run away and hide underneath something and about the time she does a few minutes later a horse comes ridding by. I think she feels the vibration of the ground and that's what scares her. I don't think she's done that in awhile. It only happened when she's outside when someones riding a horse, not inside.
