Bitten by the beardie bug and now....welll.....

Yes. I just used left over material I had here at home. It was just something I made in about 5 minutes so we could take him outside a few weeks ago when it was warm.

Thanks. I think the fleece is a great way to get Izzy Lu used to having something on her. She LOVES fleece. Oh wait....when fleece comes near her she almost ALWAYS falls asleep!!! That would kinda defeat the purpose LOL!!!

Mine love it too. I have sewed them so many things using fleece. Now I am making things out of cotton for summer. They each are getting a few sets of matching hammocks, pillows, and blankets. We are still unsure of Embers sex so her stuff is unisex.

This is one of her pillows made from leftover corduroy. All the new stuff I went and bought fabric. Isn't that sad?

She doesn't want to go to bed yet.

Thank you! It's hard to show her colors. She has a lot of yellow and orange on her. She is almost 6 weeks old and my other one is 5 months old. He is a sand color. I'd take a picture but he is on the back of my neck, burrowed in my hair sleeping.

The hammock is so easy to make. They have flannel, cotton, and fleece ones. When it was cold I used the flannel and fleece. I even made fleece lined pouches for them to sleep in was cold.

Buried in your hair....lol....... Mine does that with my daughter. Izzy is about 4 1/2 months. You're brave getting a second one!!! I can see how tho......I'm always checking them out in pet stores!!!!!

Harness first......hammock second. Did you use grommets in the holes that hold the hammock up?

Lol. I think someone on here sells them. Send me a private message with your address and I'll send you a few as a gift. They cost next to nothing for me to make. I have a bin full of grommets and lots of fabric. Just let me know what colors and type of prints you want. If it's something I don't have I can get it. I can use any leftover in patchwork quilts.

Here's her enclosure. The light to the left is a Che. Gets cold at night and I keep the house cold. Still want to add a few things. It sits on my fireplace in the family room.

It's been about two months since we got our beardie. She is the best!! So calm and very interactive with us. Shoulder riding is a favorite thing for her to do as well as snuggling at night. I'm researching building a custom viv made out of a dresser or a china cabinet. Yup......I'm really into owning a beardie!!!!
