Biting Dragon

I have 2 one year old dragons. The male has been biting the female on top of her head and thrashing her around. They are only half grown and are in a 3 by 1 foot cage. Any suggestions on what this means and what I should do about it?

He may be trying to mate with your female. I would separate them right away! Two beardies should never be housed together, and they will be much happier and healthier if you house them in separate tanks.

Yeah, sounds like he is trying to make more dragons.

They should be housed separately and keep an eye on her because taking care of eggs and babies requires a lot of time, effort and a little money.
